Lawyer vs Professional Engineer

This is the battle that has been going on in my head for the past week, I have my LSAT date but I'm having second thoughts about submitting my life to 3 more excruciating years of law school. Going to grad school for an engineering masters isn't as bad, it only takes two years and I don't have to take an exit exam to work. Although I still would have to take the P.E exam.

Being a professional engineer is definitely easier, if I get a job with a good company, the company would pay for my schooling but as for law school, nobody would pay for it but myself. That’s about 100k... then of course there is the patent bar that I would need to take and then the BAR exam, auch. Just the thought of it brings fear and my knees begin to tremble. Thereafter is the uncertainty of finding a job as a patent lawyer, what hope do I have in that sense?

I don’t know but I do need to decide this soon…

….I know I haven’t been writing in here as much as I should, its not that I don’t have anything to say its just…. Ok ok lunchtime. Until next time.
